It's finally time! The post-jam update is here bringing many QoL changes and needed bug-fixes!
Here's a list of the changes:
New: - Added the Recipe Book - Added a new potion - Added auto-saving - Added new Visual Improvements in particular: - Damage numbers on damaging enemies - Added screen effects (that can be turned off in the options) - Changed some sprites - Added fancy effects when brewing and drinking - Added a simple tutorial in-game - You can now pet the cat!! - Added lore notes Changes: - The controls are completely revamped, with the attack now striking towards your mouse! - Rebalanced some potion effects - Changed the difficulty curve - Rebalanced enemies - Changed the light bar to be above the cauldron Fixes: - Fixed 2 gamebreaking bugs involving some explosions - Fixed a lot of minor bugs - The enemies now should spawn evenly distance to the cauldron - The cats AI has been improved - Fixed some sound issues - Increased ingredient spawn rate (Still spawn in shadow!) (And some minor changes)
Go ahead and try it out! I would like to see someone fill up the Recipe Book! Have fun!
